The discovery of 60 large black and white studio portraits from almost a half-century ago resulted in an effort to reunite the photos with surviving family members. Allen VanLandschoot of Edina Realty of Baxter purchased a building in downtown Brainerd that used to be the home of Oz Wik Studios on Oak Street. While going through the building, he discovered the 60 large portraits in a cardboard box in the basement rafters of the studio. The portraits, mounted on matboard, were taken approximately a half century ago. VanLandschoot figured the photos were valuable to family members and saved them from destruction with the hope of offering any to family members who can provide him with viable proof of relation.
